October 20, 2008: The Community Foundation of Calhoun County will host a Scholarship and Financial Aid Seminar on October 28, 2008, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The seminar will be held in the 6th floor meeting room Wachovia Bank, 1000 Quintard Avenue Anniston, AL.
The seminar will provide a broad range of information about scholarships available from the Community Foundation and other local, regional and national college scholarships and financial aid resources to area high school juniors, seniors and their parents. Applications for scholarships administered by the Community Foundation are due by February 1, 2009. For application information, call the Foundation office at 256.231.5160.
Refreshments will be provided. There is no cost to attend the program.
The Community Foundation of Calhoun County is one of more than 750 community foundations in the United States. The Foundation assists area residents in establishing a charitable fund during their lifetime or leaving a permanent legacy to enhance the quality of life in our region.
